A PINEAPPLE COCONUT SMOOTHIE THAT’LL WAKE UP YOUR TASTEBUDS

Sometimes a shower and a cup of coffee isn’t enough to shake the sleep off and get you going for the day. Well, we’ve got a bit of bright, tropical goodness to put a little pep in your step and introduce a dose of sunshine, even on a cloudy day.

Banana and coconut milk provide a perfectly creamy, sweet base to this morning elixir. And the addition of pineapple goes so well as a contrasting ingredient with a little zing. Now, you can use fresh pineapple or frozen pineapple in this smoothie. Your choice.

A bit of flaxseed adds a note of toasted nuttiness to the overall flavor – and we’re big advocates of using a couple of ice cubes to make it almost shushy once blended.

HOW TO MAKE THIS TROPICAL PINEAPPLE SMOOTHIE

The best thing (aside from the taste) about this tropical smoothie is how easy it is to make. Simply add all your smoothie ingredients to a blender and give it a whirl.

Since there are only five ingredients to speak of, it’ll be one of the easiest things you do all morning!
