Ingredients below are for a 5.5-cup cooker.
- 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 3 Garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Small onion, finely chopped,
- 1 Medium carrot, finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 28 oz Can diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup Water
- Salt and pepper
- Put all the ingredients in the rice cooker’s inner pot and stir.
- Choose the [Slow Cook] function and set the timer to 90 minutes. Press start.
- You can serve the sauce chunky or blend half of it in a blender for a smoother texture.
- Season with salt and pepper and serve.
