- Put the ingredients for the marinade in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Put beef and marinade in a ziploc bag or bowl, seal and refrigerate overnight or for at least 2 hours.
- Add beef, half of the marinade and carrots in rice cooker, close the lid and set to slow cooker mode for 3 hours.
- Serve in lettuce wraps topped with scallions and chili sauce.
1 pound beef tenderloin or sirloin sliced thin into 1/8-inch thick pieces.
1 large carrot, sliced into bite size sticks (julienned)
4 scallions, finely chopped
For the marinade
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 Bosc pear, finely chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
1 chopped green onion
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Pinch of salt and pepper
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
